Design and development of VHDL based FPGA print engine for Xaar Omnidot -760 Printhead.

--Used to Print LCD processing Steps, and Nano-Technology processing steps - Control/Jetting for

30 Ton Ink-Jet. Design used 420MBPS LVDS Serial Links to Print Heads.

Design was over 1.2 Million Gates of VHDL.

Add new features to VHDL based FPGA based Print Engine Designs using Xilinx ISE/ Mentor

Modelsim tools for Synthesis, Testbench, Simulation, Place and Route and Verification.

Aid in Debugging ATMEL AVR RISC micro-controller code for Print Engine Aux. Processors.

Lead a team of seven engineers to develop an airborne PBX hardware/software sub-function of

an ARINC-761 (Airsat-5/8) based aero-SATCOM for a 747/777 class and large biz-jet aircraft.

Team designed high-complexity mixed-signal PWB with over 1,200 components, CPLDs totaled

over 15,000 gates. Wrote the initial hardware requirements spec. Team developed 30,000 lines of

OO device drivers and built in self test code in SEI level three process and under RTCA DO-178B

software safety guidelines.(E1, TSI, ST bus, audio, digital, VHDL, STU-III)

Designed, developed, and integrated a radio frequency compensation module for Broadband

ADF(Automatic Direction Finding) like application. Design also did Gain and Offset Compensation

for Auto-Pilot

Improved previous design by adding Error Detecting and Correcting Memory(EDAC), and reducing

the number of circuit cards from two to one. Designed analog, and digital hardware. Wrote

assembly language, C, and Pascal for test and real-time software. Prototyped TMS320-based

hardware and software to perform coordinate vector rotation in real time.

Implemented pre-production design improvements on K-band Automatic Frequency control board

for Multi-mode Radar Application. Improved hardware and revised TI BASIC GPIB test software

for unit and environmental testing.
